She REALLY wants that coffee

12:46 p.m. 200 block of Belle Terre Boulevard.

Suspicious incident. A woman driving a small black car tailgated a man, then veered recklessly around his SUV and into a Starbucks drive-thru line.

The man pulled up next to the speeder and asked her why she was in such a hurry.

The woman said "I will punch you," then got out of her car and started trying to hit the man in the face as he blocked the blows with his arms.

The woman was gone by the time deputies arrived.

The report doesn't say whether she got her caffeine fix.

The unidentified flying 'thing'

10 p.m. First block of Rainbow Drive.

Suspicious incident. A woman called 911 saying that a "thing went flying by in the sky," according to a dispatcher's notes.

The woman told the dispatcher that she was on her lanai and that the unidentified flying thing was bright yellow and bright green, noiseless, and "went by very fast in the sky," with a mile-long smoke trail.

She said she just wanted to report it in case someone else did, too.

The dispatcher's report ends, "No action possible. LEO [law enforcement officers] aware."
