Discussions at the next Palm Coast City Council workshop, beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, will cover the following topics:

  • The Planning Division has a presentation on accepting the Districting Commission report and revising the City Council districts. Through a series of meetings, the Commission voted unanimously to recommend Alternative 4 as the preferred alternative to City Council. The Commission recommends this alternative due to minimal disruption in upcoming election cycle.
  • The Planning Division will present a resolution approving the Community Development Block Grant consolidated annual performance and evaluation report for the program year of October 2020 to September 2021. The projects/activities and the accomplishments described in the report, consistent with the national objectives of the CDBG program benefit low- and moderate-income persons or neighborhoods where there is a high percentage of low- and moderate income residents.
  • The Stormwater & Engineering Department will present a resolution approving the execution of a Florida Inland Navigation District project agreement for the construction of Part 2 items associated with adding water access at Waterfront Park. The City intends to advertise construction soon and have construction begin in the spring of 2022.

Public Comments will be allowed in accordance with Section 286.0114 Florida Statutes and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name and may speak for up to 3 minutes.
