Drunk threatens deputy, then asks where he lives

11:11 p.m. Cypress Point Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway

DUI, threatening a public servant. A man rear-ended the car in front of him. Deputies who arrived at the scene could smell alcohol on him even from a good distance away.

The man admitted he'd had a couple of beers at work before leaving, then, when deputies pointed out an empty beer can in the car, he admitted that he'd had that, too.

When deputies went to arrest and search him, the man became angry and threatening toward one of the deputies, and said, "I'll see you out, bro." When the deputy asked him what he meant, the drunk man repeatedly phrase, then asked where the deputy lived. The Sheriff's Office added a charge for threatening a public servant.

Naked and unafraid

3:52 p.m. 4300 block of North Oceanshore Boulevard.

DUI. A deputy was dispatched to investigate a suspicious incident. He found a car idling on the side of A1A with the driver's side door open and the driver, a woman, slouched over the front console.

The driver wore no pants. She smelled of alcohol, and there was a box of wine on the pavement next to the open door.

The deputy asked the woman where her pants were. She said she didn't know and may have left her hotel without them. She thought she was on LPGA in Ormond Beach.

A Breathalyzer showed her blood alcohol concentration at three times the legal limit. The deputy had her checked by fire rescue and arrested her for a DUI.
