On Sunday, Sept. 19, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a fireworks complaint in Palm Coast. Deputies observed fireworks going off near the Indian Trails Sports Complex and found a vehicle in the parking lot with two occupants, one adult and one teenager.

When deputies approached the vehicle, they smelled and saw what appeared to be marijuana.

During a search of the vehicle, a glass pipe and container of marijuana were located with hashish oil, along with a loaded firearm in the center glove compartment. The teen's purse contained another firearm with ammo. The Flagler County Communications Center advised that the firearm found in the teen's purse was reported stolen in Clay County.

Both the diver and passenger have been arrested multiple times in previous years as well. They were arrested, and the teen was transferred to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
