AdventHealth Daytona Beach receives top score in clinical quality

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is 1 of 483 hospitals in the nation to earn this designation.

For the third consecutive year, AdventHealth Daytona Beach has earned a five-star rating in clinical quality from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The rating is the highest a hospital can attain, and AdventHealth Daytona Beach is one of 483 hospitals nationwide to receive it, according to a press release from AdventHealth.

“This CMS rating is a reflection of the excellent care we provide to our community, and we are honored to be recognized once again as a five-star facility,” said David Weis, president and CEO of AdventHealth Daytona Beach. “Achieving this requires a serious team-based effort. and I am proud of our team of expert clinicians for helping our hospital continue our legacy for providing the best care and quality to the community.”

CMS evaluates performance in key areas including mortality, safety, readmission, and patient experience.

The 2023 rating is based on data from July 2018 through December 2021.
