Attorney Jemma Takx has joined Selis Law Firm in Ormond Beach.
Takx, an estate planning attorney licensed in Florida, graduated from the FSU College of Law in 2020. She previously worked in the United Kingdom's Houses of Parliament for a London-based constituency, according to a press release.
During law school, she served as a member of the school’s mock trial team, moot court team, international arbitration team, and the Law Review. She also served as legal aide to the executive director of the International Bar Association and to the IBA Human Rights Institute.
She started her legal career working as a Children’s Legal Services attorney through Florida's Department of Children and Families before joining the Selis Law Firm, according to the press release.
