Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach to hold new dining fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach is hosting a new culinary event, with all proceeds slated to benefit local community organizations.

The new “Long Table Dinner” event is scheduled for May 2 at the home of Elaine and Dr. Ken Hawthorne, at 70 Riverside Drive. The dining event will feature a five-course dinner with wine pairings from Ormond Beach restaurants. The proceeds will go toward the Halifax Humane Society, Provision Packs, Family Renew Community and others.

“We are excited and delighted to host the first ever Long Table Dinner event to support the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach and its charities," the couple said in a press release. "We’re looking forward to tasting each course from five different restaurants."

The dinner costs $125 per person. Sponsorship packages are also available.
