A sticky situation
Pine Trail Elementary Principal Tami Fisher spent over an hour standing still as students of all grades stretched strips of colorful duct tape across her body, all in the name of helping the school's PTA fundraise on Wednesday, May 2.
The event was successful as PTA was able to raise $840 to support teacher and staff appreciation. This is the third year the PTA has taped a school staffer to the wall, but Fisher's first time experiencing it. From kindergarten students chanting "Tape her mouth!" to fifth graders watching as the chair from under her feet was carefully pulled out, Fisher was a good sport and took it in stride.
"It's like a spa treatment," she said, referencing the full-body wraps.
