Canada man dies in motorcycle crash in Ormond Beach

A 72-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in front of The Trails Shopping Center in Ormond Beach around 5:01 p.m. Friday, March 22, Ormond Beach Police reported.

William Gordon Bacon, of Ontario, Canada, died at the scene in North Nova Road from injuries sustained in the crash, which involved an SUV, according to a press release. All traffic lanes on the road were closed due to the crash. OBPD reports the investigation is ongoing.
