One of the world's most ancient celebrations came to Ormond Beach.
A celebration of the beginning of spring and the Persian New Year was held at the Casements on Sunday, March 17, despite scattered showers.
The traditional Iranian festival featured the Vancouver Pars National Ballet, live music and cultural programs, as well as a kids zone. Various vendors selling Iranian and Middle Eastern foods and desserts were available to visitors. The event was presented by the Iranian American Society of Daytona Beach and was free and open to the public.
