After a week of designing and sewing, local girls show off their Fashionista Camp creations on June 30, at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum.
In a version of Ormond Beach’s own fashion week, 20 local girls spent 5 days immersed in heaps of fabric and sewing techniques at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum.
This year’s Fashionista Camp, led by Kristin Heron and Cacee Rose, took place from June 26-30. The girls, all between the ages of 6-12, spent the first four days learning how to sew and creating an original dress. On the last day of camp, the lobby of the museum doubled as a catwalk in order for the girls to flaunt their outfits before their family members.
