The annual seafood festival celebrated all things water in Ormond Beach.
One of Ormond Beach’s biggest festival returned to Rockefeller Gardens this past weekend, bringing something for every water lover to enjoy. The 8th-annual Ormond Beach Riverfest Seafood Festival celebrated two days of local oysters, crab, shrimp, fresh fried fish, and other seafood at Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park.
Activities included cooking demonstrations, kids crafts, bouncy houses, a "Rain Gutter Regatta," free fishing poles and lessons for kids sponsored by Fish Florida, Innovative Bookkeeping and PBG, kayaks, paddle boards, boat rides, and a Rubber Duckie 5K River Run sponsored by Southern Stone Events. Last year, the event drew more than 12,000 area residents and visitors to the parks.
