The game looked like it was almost over.
Seabreeze's softball team was down 8-3 to Flagler Palm Coast with one out in the top of the seventh inning in the MHS Pre-season Classic the night of Thursday, Feb. 13, at Matanzas High School.
However, thanks to several errors by the Bulldogs, the Sandcrabs scored 5 runs in the inning to tie the game.
Although the Bulldogs managed to put one runner across home plate to win the game 9-8.
"We're a young team. But I saw a lot of fight in them — a lot of heart in them," Seabreeze head coach Shanah Thomas said. "We learned a lot. I'm proud that we were able to come back and make it a game."
