Kids blast off into space with DIY slime at this week's Enviro Camp session.
Enviro Camp brought out kids' inner astronaut with space-themed activities on Monday, July 17.
The kids, all aged between 7-10, participated in three different astronomy-themed stations. In the first, they were able to craft and paint all the planets in our solar system. The second station helped them DIY their own galaxy slime, complete with purple food coloring and glitter. In the third station, the kids measured the distance to scale between planets and the sun in the lawns of the Environmental Discovery Center.
Enviro Camp will hold two more week-long camps in their second session ending Aug 4.
